School Council

The School Council for the 2024-2025 school year is:

Chair – Kara Kushinski

Vice Chair – April McDonald

Secretary – Lori Cvijetic

 School Council Update


School Council Update:

  • School Council is a way to support meaningful parental involvement in decisions that affect the school and its operations.  It is an advisory role to the school.  It does not fundraise.  The School Council discusses school related matters including but not limited to school policies, rules and goals, school budget and planning, school division policies, volunteers, PAT results and survey results, promoting the school community, programs offered in school, extracurricular activities, school calendar and services to improve student learning.  Message from the SC Team.
  • Great Reasons to Join School Council:
    • To support your child’s education and to get to know the school community
    • To help the staff and students and to contribute to the school
    • To advocate and have an impact on your child’s education
    • To be informed of your school’s environment
    • To learn something new about your school and see how resources are allocated
    • We hope to see you at a meeting and are looking forward to another great year!
