Students and staff will be walking for Mental Health on Wednesday, May 8 for Mental Health. We will leave the school at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join us for the walk!

Jump Rope For Heart

Jump Rope for Heart will be held during your child’s P.E. class on May 24th. To register your child, please use this link. Or share this QR code. 

Feel free to share your child’s fundraising page on your favourite social media platforms to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation and increase their fundraising efforts. All fundraising will be done online and all “Thank You Gift Card” prizes your child earns will be sent to the email you provide. 

Please support your child’s learning and development by helping them choose and track their EASY healthy habits on their fundraising page to win additional prizes!

Hot Lunch Information

Many classes are now booking end of the year field trips. This means that some of you may have ordered a hot lunch for your child, and it will no longer be needed. Please check on the CES calendar @ https://ces.blackgold.ca/calendar/ to see if your child’s class has a field trip booked for a hot lunch Friday. Please feel free to cancel your order and you will receive a credit on your account for a future hot lunch order. We encourage you to do this as soon as possible so you do not miss the cancellation deadline. If you wish to keep your order please let your child’s teacher know so it can be put aside for pick up anytime after 11:45 am on the day of the field trip. Thank you!

Volunteer Opportunity

We still have a few spots open! We are still looking for a few parent volunteers to help with our Teacher Appreciation lunch May 9th from 11:45 to 1pm.  We would like our teachers to have a chance to enjoy lunch together so we the parents will supervise recess outside and lunch once the kids come back in. If you have time to volunteer your time it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
