Focus is on Teens Grades 7-12
Fentanyl has been making headlines across the country. What is fentanyl? Why should parents and caregivers be concerned? This informative session will help increase your awareness about fentanyl, a type of opioid, and recognize warning signs that youth may be engaged in substance use. Parents, caregivers, and adults who care for youth will feel more confident having conversations about making informed choices around substance use. Parents will learn how to react proactively against the dangers of opioid abuse, addiction and overdose. You will leave with a better understanding of how to build resiliency in your teen, and gain awareness on how to access treatment and harm reduction resources.
